“Art Festival and International Networking” by Professor Yatin Lin

On April 29th, 2021, TNUA IMCCI and the School of Dance cross-listed graduate seminar “Art Festival and International Networking” (led by Professor Yatin Lin, with guest instructor River Lin) invited Ms. Eva Lin, the artistic director of mt.project. Her topic was “The seam between two spaces” where shared her experience in curating “The Hidden South (2018)” exhibit in Taitung. We learned how to conduct experiments that constitute interdisciplinary practice in unconventional venues. One of the international students Winna Go reflected after the class: “Art and curation should be an extension of [the curator as] a person him/herself”.
